T Districts Plan: Better Administration, Minimal Corruption

Telangana government is all set to bring the proposed new districts on Vijaya Dasami day. The intention behind the districts reorganization is to ensure better administration besides the political reasons. The state government is now focusing on the administrative set up in new districts. Very soon, a team of senior IAS officers will be sent to other states.

The team will be studying administrative set up in various states like Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Chattisgarh, Odisha, Tamil Nadu and Haryana. They will be submitting a report on administrative arms in the districts of those states. The best practices will be implemented in the upcoming districts of the state.

The state government targets to bring down corruption in certain departments like revenue where the officials should implement citizen charter for better and speedy services to the people. We know that the existing 10 districts of Telangana will be going up to 31 come this Dussehra. The government aims to complete the government buildings in these districts by the next year.
