Telangana Ideologue and one of the major stakeholders in Telangana Rashtra Samiti Party, Professor Jaya Shankar’s family is insulted by TRS. Jaya Shankar breathed his last before seeing his dream of Telangana becoming true. Jaya Shankar’s brother Vasudeva Rao and Vasudeva Rao’s son Chalapathi Rao went to KCR’s residence a short while ago. They are denied entry by the security and TRS activists there. They are asked to go to Telangana Bhavan for queries.
Speaking to scribes, they said, “We came here to ask KCR to accomodate one of us as MLA or MLC. But we are not even granted an appointment”. It is said that KCR is also not in favour of allotting seat to Jaya Shankar’s family as he do not want any other power center within the party. While some of the close aides of KCR are asking him to allot some tough seat for Jaya Shankar’s family as refusing them a seat sends wrong signals to public, On the other side, Vasudeva Rao and Chalapathi Rao confirmed that they will be meeting KCR some how and file a request.
