The Bifurcation has resulted in one of the most confusing allocation of Rajya Sabha members between both the Telugu States. Four MPs belonging to Telangana were allotted to Andhra Pradesh and these MPs are refusing their MPLADS funds for the rival state. However constitution does not permit them to spend those funds in other state (Telangana in this case). It is said that they have brought this to the notice of Parliamentary Affairs Minister Venkaiah Naidu who promised to bring in an amendment in the winter session.

This is also the case with few Rajya Sabha MPs of AP who are now allotted to Telangana. We came to known that these MPs are ready to leave their funds untapped other than using them for the other state. It is also said that Center is also trying to bring in an amendment to facilitate exchange of Rajya Sabha MPs between both the states on mutual consent. The current allocation took place with a lucky draw which resulted in this confusion.
