The Telangana elections are under 3 weeks from now and the focus is entirely on what promises to be an interesting clash between BRS, BJP, and the Congress party.
Coming to the topic, it is now understood that there are many crorepatis in the election this time around. Over 14 candidates from BJP, BRS, and Congress have declared assets worth over Rs 100 crores each.
The richest from BRS is P Sekhar Reddy who has declared assets worth Rs 227 crores. He is contesting from Bhuvanagiri. Next is K Prabhakar from Dubbak with Rs 197 crore. There are three others with over Rs 100 crores in BRS. The party has 5 candidates with over Rs 100 crores assets.
The richest contestant in TS polls is from Congress – G Vivek with Rs 606 crores. He is contesting from Chennuru. Munugode’s K Rajagopal Reddy has Rs 458 crores assets. Congress has the highest number of contestants with over Rs 100 crores declared assets – 7.
BJP has the least Rs 100 crores valued contestants – 2 and they are Serilingampally’s M Ravikumar, Rs 166 crores, and Korutla’s D Aravind with Rs 107 crores.
