Telangana elections are around the corner. We are just one and a half months away from the election. BRS is at the forefront of the opposition by announcing the candidates while Congress and BJP are gearing up to announce their first list.
Janasena previously announced contesting in 32 constituencies and also got the Glass Tumbler symbol from the Election Commission.
Even though Janasena allied with TDP in Andhra Pradesh, it made no such announcement in Telangana. The candidates are also yet to be announced.
At this juncture, it has to be seen if Pawan Kalyan will directly involve and campaign for this election.
The problem in Telangana is that Janasena has neglected the state unit completely.
If Pawan Kalyan campaigns aggressively in the state and draws a blank, it will give an opportunity for his political opponents in Andhra Pradesh to say he is nothing and he has failed.
With elections in Andhra Pradesh just six months away, Pawan Kalyan can not afford to take that risk. And that means he will have to drop Telangana completely.
TDP will also have a similar dilemma but the answer is clear already for that party. With Chandrababu in jail and Lokesh busy, there is no chance of a Telangana campaign.
