Uravakonda: Former MLA Vs MLC In YCP

Uravakonda constituency in Anantapur has a unique sentiment. Whoever comes to power here will not come to the power in the state.

In 2019 , TDP’s Payyavula Keshav won from here and TDP had to confine with just 23 seats in the assembly elections.

On the other side, YSR Congress‘s condition in the constituency is going bad due to group politics. The party is divided into two groups – Former MLA Vishweshwar Reddy and MLC Siva Rami Reddy.

Siva Rami Reddy expected a ticket in 2019 elections but could not get. He was recently made the MLC but that has worsened the group politics.

The supporters of both the leaders often fight in the name of protocol etc. Officials of the constituency are often confused about whose orders they should follow.

Party is becoming weak day by day as a result. It’s high time Jagan calls both the leaders and talk to them, party supporters say.
