Virat’s aptitude at endorsing or marketing products has been recognised as early as two years ago when he signed three year deal with Adidas for a sum of 30 crores. Presently, Kohli endorses 13 brands in which the latest are Swiss luxury watch Tissot, real estate developer Nitesh Estates and Colgate’s SuperFlexi Toothbrush. Reaching the level sent by Sachin Tendulkar and MS Dhoni, Kogli’s endorsements earn him remuneration in excess of Rs 100 crore a year!
Business heads say that Kohli has the perfect attitude for brand endorsements. Not only as he performed exceptionally well recently, he appeals to the youth of this country with his traits from fearless, doer, hungry, passionate and ambitious. These characteristics of his are also reflective in his brand choices and out of 20-22 brands he can endorse, he is already on his 13th. That is quite a feat!
