AP Minister Dola Sri Anjaneyulu announced that a beach festival will be organised in Vizag in January, 2026. He said Vizag holds a special place in the heart of Chandrababu. This, he added, led to the creation of a special eonomic region from Srikakulam to Konaseema.
The Minister said Chandrababu conducted an aerial survey of the region and took several pro-active decisions focused on Vizag. He stated that the CM formed a steering committee along with Pawan Kalyan and other ministers. He also noted that the CM and IT Minister Lokesh laid foundation stones for multiple IT companies.
Speaking about upcoming plans, Dola said a beach festival will be organised in Vizag during the New Year. The event is aimed at attracting tourists and encouraging tourism. It is also planned to strengthen the brand image of the city and Andhra Pradesh.
The festival will be held at RK Beach from January 23 to January 30, 2026. It is expected to be a grand affair. CM Chandrababu has already released the official poster for Vizag Utsav, adding momentum to the preparations.
Vizag is already a known tourist destination but still has huge growth potential. The Andhra Pradesh government wants to tap into this opportunity. The goal is to transform the AI capital of AP into an international tourism hub.
