What is Jagan’s Strategy on Roja?

The Privileges Committee is most likely to submit a report on the indiscipline of YSR Congress MLA, Roja the next week. In all probability, Roja will have to serve another year of suspension in case she does not unconditionally apologize to TDP MLA Anitha.

Roja clearly stated that she is not going to apologize. She also said that her voice was morphed from various sources to put up a case against her. On the other side, Jagan said it is an injustice to punish twice for a single mistake. So, both of them are on different sides.

If Roja is still adamant, the suspension may be inevitable. What will be the strategy of Jagan in such case? One Year Suspension for an MLA will mean that he/she had to forego all the monetary and protocol benefits an MLA is entitled to. Forgoing Protocol Benefits will mean that the MLA will have no hold on the officials in the district and constituency.
