Media Baron Ramoji Rao this morning announced that Eenadu Newspaper office which is in Somajiguda is being moved to the Ramoji Film City in the outskirts of the city. This sudden move of Ramoji Rao came as a surprise to many as they have left out office space in the heart of the city. Andhra based business establishments especially media houses have been facing the heat from Telangana agitators after the formation of the new state.
There are increasing worries about the safety of properties since media houses some times have to go against the government. Eenadu, the largest circulated Telugu Newspaper has faced similar situation earlier last month as they revealed the rift between the government and Hyderabad Metro concessionaire, L&T. Ramoji Rao do not want his employees to operate at such risk and decided to move the office to Ramoji Film City. RFC can be termed as a bastion for Ramoji Rao. It is far from the city and is also fully protected.
