Why Pawan Kalyan is Taking Jagan’s Route?

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is usually averse to interacting with media. When he talks, he does that to his own media, Sakshi or the National Media. This is the case even when he is in the Opposition and when he is in the ruling as well.

Seems like Janasena President Pawan Kalyan also developed a liking for the same. Pawan Kalyan minimized his interaction with media after the 2019 elections defeat. Whenever he has to respond to any issue, he chose to tweet and recently started a new trend.

For some issues, he is releasing Press Notes on Janasena Letterheads, and on important issues, he is getting himself interviewed by the party’s reporter and is releasing the videos of his opinions to the media. The media houses which would like to cover his views are picking up the same from those videos.

Jagan is of the opinion that Telugu Desam affiliated media would twist his words and trouble him with questions if he interacts with media frequently. We have seen him struggle in speaking impromptu press meets during the initial days of the COVID crisis. Later he shifted to recorded press meets and later stopped them totally. Wonder why Pawan Kalyan has a problem with the media!
