Andhra Pradesh government is gearing up to send a letter to Telangana government to come forward to share all the institutions under Section 10 in Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Act according to the population ratio. AP got a favourable judgement in this issue from the Supreme court last month.

There are 142 institutions under this section and they are valued at 25000 Crore according to the market value. The government had appointed a nodal office in each department to get the complete details of this institutions. Following the Supreme’s directive, AP is supposed to get major share of these assets and also liabilities.
In case, Telangana government is not ready to come forward, the issue will reach courts once again. Supreme instructed both the state governments to solve the issue amicably. If they do not, the court asked the center to intervene and finish the division in two months. Is Telangana ready to share 25000 Crore assets with AP?
