Nandamuri Balakrishna has turned Hindupur constituency into his bastion. He is looking to make it a hat-trick of victories from Hindupur by winning in the coming election.
Meanwhile, YCP has started to use the BC card against Nandamuri Balakrishna in Hindupur and here is a look into the same.
Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy is designated with the job of overseeing electioneering for YCP in Hindupur this time. Today, he has announced that YCP is fielding a BC lady candidate against Balakrishna.
Previously, there were reports that YCP is planning to field one Deepika against Balakrishna. They intend to promote her as a BC candidate. But her parents are from the Kuruba community and she married into the Reddy community.
Deepika is that wife of YCP leader Venugopal Reddy and she is all but confirmed to come against Balayya in Hindupur, as said by Peddireddy today. But Deepika, being the wife of a Reddy leader will get this lineage, and the BC card applied by YCP wont have much credence. This nothing but a desperate attempt from YCP to use the BC card and lady card against Balayya.
After failed efforts in 2014 and 19 with Muslim candidates, YCP is going all out and using every social card they have to pit against Balayya.
