CBN And PK Active, But Where Is YS Jagan?

CBN Pawan and YS Jagan local poll strategy

The stage is being set for the upcoming local body election in Andhra Pradesh as the High Court has instructed the authorities to initiate the procedure within the next six weeks.

This has no warranted chief minister Chandrababu and deputy CM Pawan Kalyan to hold a high-level meeting and discuss the seat sharing aspect already. A crucial meeting to this effect was held at the official residence of the chief minister today.

However, the opposition leader YS Jagan is almost entirely away from the active political scene. He is nowhere to be seen in the ongoing developments regarding the local body election.

Jagan had recently instructed his party leadership to make sure they contest every single seat in the local polls. It is evident that he is taking the local election very prestigious and seriously.

But without Jagan on the ground or his active participation, YCP might not be left with too much of a prospect in the electoral campaign. He is the commanding factor for the party and is expected to maintain a significant presence throughout the course of the election.

But as of now, Jagan is confining himself to the comfort of his Bengaluru house, while there is very little movement with regard to him leading YCP into the local polls. This is not a favourable outcome for YCP by any stretch of imagination.
