Jagan Underestimating Pawan Kalyan?

Opposition Leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is meeting the Editors of various Media Houses for the last few days to garner their support for his proposed Padayatra. It is said that Jagan told them that he does not consider Pawan Kalyan and his Janasena as a factor in 2019 elections.

“The CM Chair Race is between me and Chandrababu. Pawan Kalyan is totally non-existent,” Jagan said. This may emerge as Political Suicide for Jagan as it is evident that he will make not effort to consolidate anti-government vote.

In the other scenarios, there will be two options. Either Pawan Kalyan will contest alone or will contest in alliance with TDP. In both the cases, it will be a headache for Jagan. Pawan Kalyan contesting alone will divide the anti-government vote.

Pawan Kalyan and Chandrababu contesting together will mean that Youth and Kapu Community Votes will be consolidated and it will benefit TDP immensely. Jagan seems to be underestimating Pawan Kalyan factor totally which may prove to be costly.
