YSR Congress’s Core Social Media Team is completely in shambles. The Government has cracked a whip on the abusive trolls on social media with an agenda to cleanse the space. YSR Congress’s social media thrives on abuses and morphed content and so, they are in trouble.
The party claims that around 120 members of its Social Media teams have been arrested so far and are struggling in jail without getting Bail.
Many are absconding and some have got anticipatory bail.
Those still in jail include some big names in the YSR Congress Core Social Media Team. Even the then Social Media in charge Sajjala Bhargav is facing cases and is exploring legal options.
Cases are being registered in various parts of the state. So, even those who got bail are struggling to go from one court to the other for hearings.
The courts are also being strict in these cases and getting bail has become difficult. Previously, the judiciary was also the victim of YSR Congress’s Social Media. Cases were registered and at least 30 people were arrested back then but they did not change.
So, the courts seem to be serious about them.
As a result, the party’s social media strategy has suffered big time.
Some of the big social media accounts which are very influential before the elections were inactive or deactivated. Those who do not have cases are also fearing to operate.
