This is a fine example of how corruption is deep rooted in our state during the previous Congress government. While CAG accused government of being not bothered of 32% bogus pension takers, the new government recently started weeding out them. It is found that YSR Congress Chandragiri MLA Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy’s father Subrahmanyam Reddy is drawing pension (Pension Number: AP102600500742) from the government over the years.
This incident surfaced a day after YSR Congress President and Leader of the opposition, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has accused the state government of trying to cut short pensions burden in the name of scrutiny. Government says this is a fine example of how Congress and YSR Congress leaders ate away in to people’s money over the years and it will make sure only the eligible gets the pensions. It is known that Chandra Babu’s government is increasing the pension amount from 200 to 1000 from October 2nd.
