The inevitable has happened. Leader of Opposition in Andhra Pradesh, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is so far doing every thing that he can do to please Prime Minister Narendra Modi to keep his ED and CBI cases at bay. He is so conscious that he did not even comment on the Union Budget allocations too.
However YSR Congress had irked Narendra Modi at a crucial juncture. The party had voted against the crucial Land Acquisition Bill that was put up in Lok Sabha on Tuesday night. YSR Congress wanted to exempt multi-crop lands from this bill and also include social impact assessment.
But the Center refused to accept both of them. These clauses will immensely benefit the ongoing land pooling in Andhra Pradesh. If YSRCP voted in favour of the bill, he can not pursue the issue strongly in AP. So the party had voted against it. We will have to see what the consequences will be!
