Election Fever is gripping Andhra Pradesh already. Jagan Mohan Reddy is busy finalizing his candidates and the Opposition especially the TDP and Janasena are confident that together they can easily bring down this Government.
The 2019 Election Campaign of the YSR Congress is a well-crafted one. Jagan with the help of I-PAC made sure no stone was untouched in terms of Propaganda to bring down Chandrababu Naidu and he was successful too.
Back then, Propaganda films like Yatra, Lakshmi’s NTR, Kamma Rajyamlo Kadapa Reddlu, etc have also helped Jagan in some way or other.
With the 2024 elections arriving fast, Jagan is getting ready with a new bunch of Propaganda films.
Ram Gopal Varma is making two films portraying Jagan as a hero. Vyooham will be releasing on December 29th and the second part, Sapatham will be out in January.
Yatra 2 is expected to release in February just before the election code.
But then, all these seem to be a futile exercise. Ram Gopal Varma’s regular movies have no takers these days and imagine we are talking about cheap propaganda films. There is zero buzz around the film even though the release is around the corner.
Yatra 2 is being made by the same director and producers. But then, Yatra was helped by Mammootty’s casting but it is not the case with Yatra 2.
Also, the cover about Yatra is blown. So, it is unlikely to work as the first part.
