An aspiring actress who wanted to make big in the film industry got addicted to drugs and ruined her life. The Hyderabad SOT police have recently arrested her in a drug racket case.
Getting into details, Lavanya (32), who hails from Vijayawada, shifted to Hyderabad 15 years ago. She started off her career by acting in short films. In 2014, she met Uneet Reddy through a mutual friend. They acted together in the short film “Devadasu Ki Pellaindi”. Uneet is a drug addict. He used to buy MDMA from Bengaluru and peddle them in Hyderabad.
Lavanya also got used to drugs in the company of Uneet and his girlfriend Indira. Already, there are cases filed against Uneet and Indira. Meanwhile, Lavanya bought 5 grams of MDMA from Uneet on January 28. She used one gram and decided to sell four grams. SOT police got the information about the same and arrested her immediately. They said that Uneet and Indira are absconding right now. Lavanya has been put under remand.
