The High Court of Telangana ordered to file a case against the BRS chief and former Chief Minister, K. Chandrashekar Rao in connection with a land allocation issue in Kokapet.
In the past, the Revenue Department allocated 11 acres of land to BRS Party’s Institute of Excellence and Human Resource Development Centre. Each acre was sold for Rs. 3.42 crores, making a total of Rs. 37.53 crores for 11 acres.
An individual named Venkatram Reddy filed a petition to the court, stating that the land’s actual value is approximately 1100 crores, and it was transferred to BRS at a very low cost. After hearing the petition, the court today ordered the filing of cases against KCR, former Revenue Secretary Naveen Mittal, and several other accountable revenue officials.
