In the age of the internet, it is very easy to make anything go viral. From a public kissing scene to a girl using a hair straightener in the metro, everything is reaching the masses. One incident in Delhi Metro again grabbed the public attention.
A Twitter user posted a video regarding a couple getting intimate in the metro. Now he tagged a bunch of officials to look into it and considered it a threat to public safety and culture.
As with most internet issues, this also divided the users into two classes, one was rooting for love and the other class was the protector of the culture.
The first group of people are rooting for love. They don’t think it should be anyone’s concern if a couple kiss or show public affection. There are more serious issues to deal with and focusing on that will make things better. This group of people questioned the existence of morality in the case of the Sakshi and Nirbhaya.
On the other hand, several users have shown concern regarding the issue, also took a moral policing approach. They pointed out that this event may threaten our culture and public affection is against our religion and morality.
Ye ye, tag everyone on planet earth. Did they commit a capital crime? Do we need to make a law explicitly stating that PDA is not a crime? Also, on the scale of cringe … taking a video of couple making out without their permission is CRINGE man.

This is absolutely shameful. What is wrong with the youth of our nation? How can people behave like this in public? How can you sit in a public transport with your shoe laces untied? This is very unsafe. Please do better in the future. https://t.co/i5G3BsNR2S

You have CCTV in all coaches, sending a quick flying team will work, unless the Delhi metro is a cheaper alternative to Oyo these days.
Publically expose these people with photos, if they are comfortable doing so in public, they should be comfortable to accept it as well.— Dheeraj jha 🇮🇳 (@ItsDheerajDotMe) June 19, 2023
