Tragic news has struck the Malayalam film industry as actress Renjusha Menon, aged 35, was found dead by suicide at her residence in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. Her passing has shocked family, friends, and fans.
Renjusha, who lived with her husband Manoj, also an actor, had reportedly been grappling with financial difficulties in recent months. Her untimely demise is under investigation by the Sreekariyam Police.
However, what caught the attention of the fans was her last post on social media. On October 16, she posted, “Sleep is my only comfort, then I’m not sad, not angry, I’m not alone, I’m nothing.”
Renjusha began her career as a TV show anchor before venturing into TV serials, where she made her mark with “Sthree” and various other projects. She gained popularity through supporting roles in television shows and movies, including “City of God,” “Marykkundoru Kunjaadu,” and “Bombay March.”
This tragedy follows the recent suicide of another Malayalam actor, Aparna Nair, highlighting the importance of mental health awareness and support within the industry.
