
An Indian-origin techie recently took to social media to give a mouthful to Indigo for a domestic delay that made him lose his international flight to Copenhagen.
Mohammad Alzafar Zia faced a 1-hour 20-minute delay in his Indigo flight from Ranchi to Delhi, making him miss his Air India flight to Copenhagen.

Sharing his plight on social media, he said that this delay made him lose nearly Rs. 50,000 in the form of flight and hotel bookings, as well as a day’s pay.
Although Zia was quick to complain to the staff members of both Indigo and Air India, he was met with cold and fruitless words that refused him any kind of compensation for his losses.

Delays have almost become a norm for domestic flights in India, causing massive inconvenience to passengers.
While airlines themselves are very strict regarding boarding time, they seem to forget punctuality when it comes to flying their planes on time.
