In a shocking case from Hyderabad, a man named Ravi Kumar, who introduced himself as “Rafi,” has been arrested for deceiving women through fraudulent marriages. He allegedly tricked multiple women by hiding his true identity.
According to reports, Ravi Kumar, a resident of Attapur, targeted young Muslim women by pretending to be in love. He later married them under the fake identity of “Rafi.” His deception went unnoticed for some time.
Police revealed that Ravi Kumar also exploited these women by recording private videos. He then used the videos to blackmail and mentally harass them, causing severe distress.
Investigations show that he married three women using the same fraudulent methods. The truth came to light when his third wife, unable to endure the harassment, filed a complaint with Attapur police.
Based on her statement, police registered an FIR and arrested Ravi Kumar. Authorities also stated that more charges may follow if additional victims step forward with similar complaints.
The incident has caused widespread concern in Hyderabad. Many people expressed shock at the manipulation and deceit. Police have urged parents to remain alert and monitor their children’s relationships to prevent such fraud.
