A woman in Hydrabad was allegedly sexually harassed by by an Ola bike driver
The woman filed a complaint against a bike driver for sexual harassment charges. She tweeted the whole incident on her Twitter page. According to which the incident happened on the 12th of April, 2023.
She got to know that her baby is not well. She had to reach home asap. While coming from the office, she tried to book a cab but her request was denied. Therefore she booked an Ola bike. But that Ola guy seemed suspicious. According to the woman, he was peeping her through the mirror and also tried to touch her feet inappropriately.
The woman got chills as he was staring at her and giving inappropriate looks. Even after she paid the guy he stood there for around 30 minutes. The woman tweets that he was also seen in the same lane twice on the same day. Everything that happened affected her mental health. And therefore she is complaining about it after 2 months.
The woman has pictures of the bike and the driver. She has requested @Olacabs and @ola_supports to take the necessary action. It seems that her request is being noticed as The She Team has filed a complaint and will be investigating the guy at the earliest.
It is truly commendable that the SHE teams responded to a social media post and reached out to her. The She teams are playing a crucial role in ensuring the safety of women in the city.
