India vs Pakistan cricket match is nothing short of a festival in both the countries. A rivalry unparalleled, filled with adrenaline, confidence, nationalism and the hunger for win.
It’s not a surprise that the organizers and broadcasters try to hype it up as much as they can. But, special treatment to get the best from the rivalry by the organizers of Asia Cup has sparked a controversy.

India and Pakistan faced each other on 2 September for the league match of Asia Cup. But the match ended without any result because of rain. Now, India will play against Pakistan on 10 September in the Super 4 of the tournament. There are predictions that rain may wash away this match too.
Unlike other matches, India vs Pakistan match has a reserve day if rain interrupts, as per several reports. This has created tension among the fans of the participating countries as they called it unfair.

The internet has mixed reactions over this special treatment as well.
Venkatesh Prasad, the former Indian cricketer, has slammed the organisers to have different rules for different teams.

One user wrote on X(Twitter) “I hope India vs Pakistan gets washed out even on the reserve day. be more than happy to see these money hungry boards lose revenue…”
On the other hand the Bangladesh Cricket wrote on X that the decision was taken after the consent of all the four teams in the Super four.
If true this is absolute shamelessness this. The organisers have made a mockery and it is unethical to have a tournament with rules being different for the other two teams.

ACC should make rules same for each and every nation.
As an Indian I am criticising this decision of ACC, PCB and BCCI too.
