Gulz, whose true name is Gaurav Gulati, was born and grew up in Delhi. He went to the UK in 2012 to chase his medical job. He always loved music, but never got a real shot at making it his career. He often played guitar and sang in his free time. But as a doctor, he didn’t have much time for being creative due to his busy schedule.
But things changed when the pandemic started. Gulz and his team were putting in lots of hours at the hospital, dealing with stress and worry. They chose to make a group as a means of dealing and showing their feelings.
The group chose to make their first music record, ‘The Prescription’, and they put it out in May 2021. The album has 10 new songs, showing their different music likes from rock and pop to blues and funk.
