A post is going viral on social media that gives insight on how Indians are celebrating this new year.
A user shared a screenshot of app traffic of the hotel-booking site OYO, famous or rather infamous for a different sort of fun.
The data showed a peak of 130% during 6-7 am yesterday and remained above 20% with a second peak of 59% at 10 am.
This reveal triggered the memers who could not help but judge and make fun of people for celebrating the new year in a different way.
A user wrote on X, ‘Not going to share the condom sales numbers today’. Implying that condom sales would increase parallel to the hotel bookings.
Another user wrote, ‘But sir, you should share the data so that everyone can know how much awareness has increased among the people.’
