Medha Ksheerasagar from Hubbali in Karnataka and Sangama Das from Bhuwaneswar, Odisha, are software professionals working in Bengaluru. They got married on November 23 in Bhuwaneswar, and their reception was planned at the bride’s place.
The newlyweds booked Indigo Airlines tickets to fly to Hubbali for the reception. However, due to the ongoing crisis affecting Indigo Airlines, they could not travel. Meanwhile, guests had already arrived at the venue and all arrangements were ready.
With no other option, the couple attended their own reception virtually. The hotel set up a screen to broadcast them live. Guests and relatives blessed the couple online. The pictures from this rare online reception are now trending on social media.
