Omegle Now Dead

This Wednesday, the famous video chatting website “Omegle” was shut down due to numerous complaints regarding online abuse, bullying, pedophilia, and racism.

Brooks also pointed out the positive side of his site by stating that “Omegle worked with law enforcement agencies and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children to help put evildoers in prison where they belong.” However, it was becoming increasingly difficult for the founder and the moderation team to provide a secure communication channel to its users due to overwhelming attacks from online abusers.

This sudden action by the team left many people including famous YouTubers like Tristan Clausen in complete shock which they addressed in their Instagram stories.
Omegle helped many people including the founder to learn about different people, nations and culture. it also helped people to have fun during lockdown.
