Merugu Sridhar, an activist associated with The Oracle Files movement, has made serious allegations against tech giant Oracle. He claims he was targeted after speaking out against alleged illegal terminations and what he describes as a toxic work culture within the company.
Sridhar alleged that companies are hiring goons to threaten employees with guns and force them to resign. He claimed that he was also threatened with death if he refused to leave the company.
According to Sridhar, the threats became so serious that he was forced to stay away from his family and hide in Delhi for nearly two months.
He also compared the alleged corporate actions to the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. Sridhar claimed that thousands of Oracle employees are being removed from the company and compared the situation to General Dyer’s role in the massacre.
Sridhar further warned that if what he described as corporate atrocities do not stop, he would launch a Corporate Janata Party and stage a protest at Jantar Mantar.
Sridhar’s allegations are serious and have not been independently verified. Oracle’s response to these claims, if any, is awaited.
