Indians often celebrate unity in diversity, and you see it praised everywhere. Yet reality also shows deep moral double standards. Leaders who trade attacks in public are seen smiling and dancing together at private events. That contrast is hard to ignore.
Mahua Moitra and Supriya Sule have strongly opposed the BJP in Parliament and criticised its leaders many times. Yet you now see them dancing alongside Kangana Ranaut and Naveen Jindal, both sitting BJP MPs, in a viral wedding video.
The event took place at Naveen Jindal’s daughter’s wedding, which is being hosted as a grand celebration with politicians and celebrities in attendance. Mahua has openly challenged Kangana for what she calls divisive politics. That history seems forgotten inside the wedding hall.
You now watch leaders drop political battles the moment music plays. The dance goes on, and the speeches stay outside. For many viewers, that gap between words and actions feels uncomfortable and revealing at the same time.
Some argue that personal life should stay separate from politics. Others see plain hypocrisy. You cannot attack policies in public and celebrate with the same people in private without raising questions about honesty and loyalty to ideology.
