In a ridiculous yet epic incident that has left the entire world stunned, a man from Russia flew from Europe all the way till America, that too without a passport, visa or even a ticket!
With an FBI Investigation now underway, Sergey Vladimirovich Ochigava, a Russian-Israeli dual national, who is “not sure” how we pulled off the miraculous stunt, departed Copenhagen on a Scandinavian Airlines flight and landed at Los Angeles International Airport on 4 November.
The incident came to light when officers at a customs and border check in California discovered that the gentleman wasn’t listed on the passenger manifest for the flight from Denmark; or any other flights into the United States.
Despite having no documents, our protagonist indulged in second portions of the in-flight meal and even tried to have a share of the chocolate belonging to the cabin crew.
Sergey, who is now charged with being a stowaway till the FBI attempts to figure out just how he made it onboard after he claimed not remembering how he went through security without a ticket. An agent who filed the complaint, wrote that Ochigava claimed that he had not been sleeping for three days and did not understand what was going on.
A spokesperson appointed for the incident stated that they have evidence from the surveillance that Ochigaba had entered without a valid ticket and that Copenhagen Airport has provided photo and video material to the authorities who are investigating the case.
The spokesperson further added thag they are taking this matter very seriously and will incorporate it into their continuous efforts to adjust and strengthen our security guidelines. The incident, however ridiculous, adds to the need of further strengthening the airport security and make way for a better, safer world for all to live in.
