Prashant Neel’s highly anticipated venture “Salaar,” starring Prabhas in the lead role, is in its final stages of promotion. Amid everything, the hype surrounding the movie and the chaos around the clash with “Dunki,” they have dropped the second trailer of the movie, which looks at least better than the first trailer released two weeks ago.
After a series of flops delivered by Prashant Neel, people had lowered their expectations for Prabhas. When the first trailer was released, it seemed to create a similar environment to what KGF had generated. There were also reports that, although this movie is not related to KGF, Prashant Neel had shot many scenes on the same set. Such news created negativity towards the movie. However, fans of Prabhas and Prashant Neel still held high hopes for the film, and this new trailer appears to be delivering what was expected from them.
Director Prashant Neel himself seems to have already saturated its color gradient with KGF, having very little to offer in terms of novelty. Although getting an A certificate makes us hopeful for some breathtaking moments, all of the storytelling feels too generic, to be honest.
Still, this new trailer offers a better introduction to Prabhas and also provides a glimpse into the world of Khansaar. Unlike its first trailer, Shruti Hasan also has a dialogue here, although she seems to have too little impact on the story. Nevertheless, “Salaar” is the story of Prabhas as the hero, starring Prabhas for the fans of Prabhas.
