Ever since the teaser dropped for the sandeep reddy vanga’s Animal. Tere has been a huge hype around the movie. The fierce eyes of Ranbir Kapoor has worked wonders among the masses and it have been constantly been a in talks among the movie enthusiasts. Recently another very interesting decision came from the director sandeep reddy vanga that particularly has put fans split.
The decision he has taken not to dub the much awaited song arjan velly. The song gained huge popularity since the pre teaser was dropped in which Ranbir kappor was seen wearing a traditional kurta chadra and the folk avatar and the powerful bgm really marked a chestthumping moment.
The decision behind not dubbing this song can be seeing as a self harm as it might hamper the song’s performance in Telugu and Tamil regions. But if we look on a artistic point of view. It is a great creative decision which can work wonders if executed well. The song Arjan velly is not just a powerful background score but also a rendition of a folklore which boasts about arjan/arjun from malwa region of Punjab who is considered as a beast or a violent person.
The song also has proper dhadivaar style of composition which gives it a traditional flavor which can be lost if it gets dubbed in any other language. Therefore the Decision seems to be perfect strategy of adding authenticity to the story.
There are also chances that If such a powerful song is kept as it is. People can’t accept it whole heartedly because of the language barrier and it will not be a great thing for the movie. Do let us know your opinion on it.
