Scammer Doctor’s Cheap Killer Surgery

There is a significant number of small hospitals and nursing homes in the country that operate with minimal assurance, and at times, unlicensed doctors can be observed practicing there. It is crucial to thoroughly investigate such establishments and demand proof of their licenses and certifications. A recent case in Delhi highlights the severity of the issue, where a patient tragically lost their life due to unprofessional treatment by a doctor whose license had already been canceled.

The incident occurred at Agarwal Medical Centre, prompting an investigation that revealed not only the presence of unlicensed doctors but also the use of numerous expired surgical instruments and medicines during treatments. The hospital enticed patients with the promise of affordable treatment from well-qualified doctors, who, in reality, were not authorized to practice.

It’s disheartening to note that both the hospital and the doctor had a history of forgery cases. Such malpractice deserves condemnation, and law enforcement, particularly the police, should intensify efforts to uncover similar establishments. In India, the ease with which hospitals can be opened without proper permissions poses a significant risk to the lives of patients, making it imperative to address and rectify these loopholes.
