Techies Dream Job No College No Resume Needed

Sudarshan Kamath, the founder of the AI company ‘Smallest AI’, has been going viral for his recruitment post on social media.

Posting on X, Sudarshan declared that the company needed ‘cracked full-stack engineers’, and anyone could apply by just emailing a 100-word text along with providing a link to their best work.

His exact words were, “We are looking to hire a cracked full-stack engineer at Smallest AI… Send a small 100-word text introducing yourself + links to your best work to info@smallest.ai” he wrote on X, adding that “college – does not matter” and “resume – not needed”.”

Waiving off the requirement for a reputed college and a resume is what made the post go viral, as people quickly became curious at this demand for talent over degree.

Social media immediately started buzzing, with many expressing their views online.

Another commented, “Don’t add ‘cracked’ if you can’t pay cracked salary. Respectfully, it’s not a good look for you and your company.”

While the salary is definitely less when compared with the demands, this kind of recruitment does set an example for other tech moguls to take a look at and learn something from.

Sometimes, it can be much better for companies to look for sheer talent based on proof of work rather than going down the conventional route.
