Over the last few years, the field of robotics and artificial intelligence has made remarkable progress. Tesla, in particular, is making significant strides in this field, notably with their development of humanoid robots.
One project that has garnered significant excitement is the Tesla Optimus humanoid robot, which is expected to be produced in the coming years. Tesla Optimus recently shared a progress report through its Twitter account, showcasing a short video that demonstrates its promising capabilities.
In the video, the robot is seen performing basic tasks to showcase its processing abilities. One such task is sorting objects by color, which is one of the fundamental functions a humanoid robot can perform. However, beyond these basic tasks, the robot demonstrated its flexibility during a yoga session.
During the yoga session, the robot successfully executed various poses, which served as a basic test of its ability to maintain its center of gravity. What particularly excites fans is that the robot even performed a namaste pose, which is a widely recognized form of greeting in India.
Elon Musk subsequently shared a photo from the progress video on his own Twitter account, featuring the robot in the namaste pose. Musk has consistently expressed excitement about India’s emergence as a future tech hub, and this tribute will strengthen the relationship between Musk and India.
