The Indian Premier League (IPL), being the biggest in the world of cricket, has the potential to stimulate the deepest and raw feelings in the hearts of fans, no matter how professional they try to be.
A recent incident in a studio has proved just the same. With a couple of journalists sitting and discussing the ongoing match between SRH and LSG, things quickly got out of hand for one of them as he got highly frustrated with Rishabh Pant’s poor knock in the match.
Anger got the better of the panellist, as he got up and threw an object at the TV screen behind him, breaking the TV as well as almost knocking down the table in the process.
While expressing emotions is understandable during such high-intensity games, it seems that these people forgot their sense of professionalism as the whole event turned into a massive show of awkwardness.
With LSG’s next match set to be held against PBKS on April 1st, it will be interesting to see whether Rishabh Pant finally manages to find his lost form against the Punjab Kings.
A TV anchor broke the TV screen & tried to break the table just because Rishabh Pant is not performing well. We've seen such scenes in Pakistan but in the IPL this is totally insane. #LSGvsSRH #IPL2025 pic.twitter.com/yMU0wV6tgc
