At the summit, Mandhana shared the stage with World Cup winning captain Harmanpreet Kaur and ICC Women’s ODI World Cup 2025 Player of the Tournament Deepti Sharma.

The event, designed to inspire MSMEs from lessons in sports, afforded Mandhana a platform for some introspection on her career and approach to success.

“I don’t think I love anything more than cricket. Wearing that Indian jersey motivates you. It helps you focus on life and keep problems aside,” she said.

She spoke about her childhood passion for batting and her cherished dream of becoming a world champion.

Mandhana also spoke of simplicity: “I don’t complicate my life with overthinking. The work you put behind the scenes shows on the field.”

She highlighted the fact that this work ethic, with which Team India approaches the game, has evolved in the past two years for which she credits the World Cup victory.

“Everyone had a clear plan for the next two years, and that focus brought results,” she added, pointing to the disciplined preparation behind the team’s success.

On her personal life, Mandhana’s wedding with Palash Muchhal was called off due to family health issues and a mutual decision to move on.

She asked for privacy to focus on cricket, a sentiment echoed by Palash. Despite personal challenges, Mandhana’s message was clear focus, hard work, and passion drive success, on and off the field.
