Aamir Khan Regrets Coolie: Lokesh Brutally Trolled

Aamir Khan regrets his badly written role in Rajinikanth’s Coolie

Aamir Khan has reportedly admitted that doing Coolie was a mistake. The Rajinikanth starrer directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, featuring Nagarjuna, Upendra, Aamir Khan and Soubin Shahir, released on August 14 and received mixed responses from audiences.

Since the release, social media has been buzzing with trolls and feedback. A magazine cutout now going viral shows Aamir Khan saying his role in Coolie was badly written and that accepting it was a big mistake.

In his recent media interaction, Aamir revealed he only accepted the cameo for Rajinikanth. He also confessed he still does not understand the purpose of his character. His remarks sparked further trolling of the film and criticism of Lokesh Kanagaraj’s execution.

Netizens pointed out that before the release, Aamir Khan praised Lokesh Kanagaraj and even confirmed plans for a film with him. But now, rumours suggest the project has been shelved after the disappointing response to Coolie.

While some reports claim the magazine cutout is fake, Aamir’s statement has already fuelled speculation. Fans say Lokesh Kanagaraj must be more cautious with his scripts and execution if he wants to sustain his success.
