Actor Vishnu Vishal and director Ram Kumar are reuniting once again for the sequel to the most celebrated crime thriller, Ratsasan.
Recently, actor Vishnu Vishal, at an event, stated that he and Ram Kumar were in talks to start the sequel to Ratsasan, and most probably the shooting of Ratsasan 2 will start by the end of this year and will be released next year.
Following this update, many Kollywood audiences are celebrating it, responding that Ratsasan is one of the best crime thrillers ever made in Indian cinema, and if the sequel happens, it will be a sure-shot blockbuster.
In contrast, some netizens feel that the sequel to Ratsasan should be dropped, as for the past few years, none of the sequels in Kollywood have ended up as successful ventures and have also spoiled the legacy of the first part.
Therefore, the Ratsasan team should drop the idea of directing the sequel to it, and the legacy of Ratsasan should not be spoiled.
However, there haven’t been any official updates about Ratasan’s sequel from the production side. It remains to be seen whether the shooting of Ratsasan’s sequel will start in the future, as Vishnu Vishal promised, and if it happens, how it’s going to shape up.
