Kamal Haasan Going Extra Mile to Help Siva Karthikeyan?

Kamal Haasan Seyon cameo speculation

Following the back to back failures of Madharaasi and Parasakthi, Sivakarthikeyan is now acting as the lead in the film Seyon directed by Sivakumar Murugesan, which is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release in October.

The promo for this film was released a few weeks ago and has received a super positive response from audiences. Additionally, since Sivakumar Murugesan’s debut film Thaai Kizhavi, which was released recently, emerged as a huge blockbuster success, Seyon carries huge expectations among the audiences.

In this scenario, now there is strong speculation that Kamal Haasan, who is also the producer of the film, is going to appear in a cameo role and the filming for his portions is expected to happen soon.

Furthermore, there is information suggesting that Kamal Haasan will reprise his iconic character, Virumaandi, in the film. Since the story of Seyon deals with people who worship two deities, Murugan and Virumaandi, director Sivakumar Murugesan is reportedly planning to cast Kamal Haasan to represent those who worship Virumaandi, while Sivakarthikeyan’s character will be related to Murugan.

In response to this speculation, many Kollywood fans have started celebrating, noting that if this happens, it will be a blast in theaters. They suggest that Virumaandi is one of the best characters in Kollywood history and reprising the role in a Sivakarthikeyan film would be a treat for the audience.

On the other hand, Kollywood trackers are noting that if this buzz proves true, the commercial and business value of the film will skyrocket. They also point out that if Sivakumar Murugesan delivers a solid film, with a powerful cameo by Kamal Haasan, the movie has a huge chance to do wonders at the box office.

Nonetheless, all these are just social media speculations and there are still no official updates on this. Therefore, it remains to be seen whether Kamal Haasan will indeed appear in a cameo role in Sivakarthikeyan’s Seyon and if he does, how the film will take shape in the future.
