Thalaivan Thalaivii, starring Vijay Sethupathi and Nithya Menen in the lead roles and directed by Pandiraj, is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on July 25th.
With only a few days left until the release, the Thalaivan Thalaivii team is currently promoting the movie by giving interviews to popular YouTube channels.
In one such interview, Nithya Menen opened up, stating that she “felt nothing while acting in big hero movies; it felt like she was part of somebody else’s film.”
Furthermore, she mentioned that she then realized what she needed to change and her approach to what she had to do. After taking a long break, she is now happier with her choices. This statement has since gone viral.
Following this, many netizens commented that Nithya Menen is very bold and that’s why she is spitting truths. Her bold decision to act in movies with more scope for her, rather than worst characters in big hero movies, is highly appreciable.
However, her last movie, Kadhalikka Neramillai, ended up as a failure. It remains to be seen whether Thalaivan Thalaivii becomes a successful venture and helps her make a comeback after the setback from her last movie upon its release on July 25th.
