Following the back-to-back 100 crore movies Love Today and Dragon, Pradeep Ranganathan is now acting as a lead in two projects: Love Insurance Kompany (LIK), directed by Vignesh Shivan, and Dude, directed by debutant Keerthiswaran.
Now, according to a strong buzz, LIK, which was supposed to be released on September 18th, is getting postponed to Valentine’s Day next year due to the movie’s bloated budget issues.
Following this, many netizens started to criticize Vignesh Shivan, stating that Pradeep Ranganathan is currently in his prime. In this scenario, they argue that due to Vignesh Shivan’s lethargy, LIK’s budget became bloated and its release date keeps getting postponed, thereby wasting Pradeep Ranganathan’s prime time.
They also feel that Pradeep Ranganathan made a huge blunder by committing to a project with Vignesh Shivan. While everything Pradeep Ranganathan has done so far has established him as a promising actor in Kollywood, the continuous postponement of LIK might cause him to lose his reputation.
However, there have been no official updates on this, and it remains to be seen whether LIK is getting postponed or releasing on the announced date in the future.
