Pradeep Ranganathan is a recent sensation in Kollywood, after the blockbuster success of his movie Dragon, which was released in theatres on February 21st and is doing wonders in the box office collections.
After the tremendous success of Dragon, Kollywood audiences were now eagerly waiting for his next, which is Love Insurance Kompany (LIK), directed by Vignesh Shivan. The film is almost in the final stages, and according to reports, the team is planning for a summer release.
Pradeep Ranganathan is now in his prime phase as his two movies, Love Today and Dragon, were true blockbusters, and have earned him a lot of youth fans. If the Love Insurance Kompany movie also ends up as a successful one, it will be three blockbusters in a row.
Some netizens shared their responses after the success of Dragon that Pradeep Ranganathan’s fate is now in the hands of Nayanthara’s husband Vignesh Shivan, as he has already become a clown personality on social media due to various issues.
At the same time, other than Naanum Rowdy Dhan, none of his movies ended up as successful ones, so if LIK ended up a failure, Vignesh Shivan would be the major reason for Pradeep Ranganathan’s downfall, who is in his prime phase.
Love Today was directed and acted by him, whereas Dragon was directed by his friend Ashwath Marimuthu, so he had more scope to make changes in the script and execution, but Vignesh Shivan is comparatively senior for him, and will he allow him to make changes is a big question mark, say the Kollywood audiences.
However, the first single of the movie LIK, titled Dheema Dheema, composed by Anirudh Ravichander, which was released a few months ago, was an instant hit, and the success of Dragon has now increased the expectation meter for LIK.
Let us see whether LIK becomes a blockbuster success or else Nayanthara’s husband Vignesh Shivan becomes the reason for Pradeep Ranganathan’s downfall after the release.
