Kanguva

Suriya’s Kanguva, directed by Siruthai Siva, was made up with a budget of around 350 crores and is all set to release on October 10th. Will Kanguva do the recovery is a big question because of Suriya’s market.

Now Rajinikanth’s Vettaiyan is all set for a clash with Kanguva on October 10th. Is this going to end up as a major reason for the Box Office disaster of Kanguva, as clashes may affect the overall collection of a movie?

As said earlier, Kanguva was made with a huge budget of 350 crores, but on the other hand, Suriya’s market is not up to that level. Suriya’s last theatrical release, Etharkum Thunindhavan, has grossed only around 75 crore. In this scenario, Kanguva’s budget is a big concern, and Suriya’s highest gross was just less than half of Kanguva’s budget. On the other hand, now Vettaiyan is also clashing with Kanguva; this will affect the opening of Kanguva, and it may also lose some single screens.

Now considering all this, will the Kanguva team change the release date? If there’s a clash, will Kanguva manage to collect the breakeven? If the team changes the date and if it releases as a solo release, will Kanguva collect as expected? All these questions will get an answer only after it’s released; let’s see what is going to happen in the coming days.
