Air India Seats Disaster: No Space, Flyers Panic

Air India passenger seat discomfort

A passenger recently shared an uncomfortable experience on an Air India flight from New Delhi to Bangalore. The aircraft had new features, including Type-C and Type-A USB charging ports at every seat. While this seemed like an upgrade, the comfort level told a different story.

Cramped Seats and Poor Space Design

The passenger seated in the 8th row described the seats as the tightest and narrowest they had ever used. The legroom was so limited that the seat in front was barely a foot away. Many travellers felt trapped in the confined space, creating a suffocating experience.

Passenger Reactions on Board

According to the traveller, another passenger almost had a panic episode because of the cramped design. They believed Air India had added an extra row of seats to increase capacity, leading to the lack of breathing space.

Comfort vs Profit

Such layout changes may benefit airlines financially but take a heavy toll on passenger comfort. If this becomes Air India’s new standard, it could push away flyers who expect at least minimal personal space during their journey.
