Another Air India Craft Cancelled Due to Glitch

Air India Cancelled Due to Glitch

In what has become a routine rather than a one-off issue, another Air India flight has been cancelled due to technical snag. The Air India craft was flying between New Delhi and Paris.

Due to this, the services of AI-143 craft have been suspended by Air India. Incidentally, another craft flying from San Francisco to Mumbai via Kolkata also developed technical glitches earlier in the day.

The craft AI 180 developed problem in the left engine and was halted at Kolkata. The passengers pleaded with the airlines to reach their destination. Air India made special arrangements to fly the stranded passengers.

It is known that just a few days back, the Ahmedabad to London Gatwick Air India craft crashed seconds after taking off. Around 270 people on board died due to the crash on June 12.

With increasing burden on air crafts due to increased air travelling, safety has become a major concern for fliers.
